The Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Mr Bonaventure Enemali who disclosed this at the National Youth Development Centre, Mgbakwu in Awka North Local Government Area, noted that the programme will hold simultaneously in the twenty-one Local Government Areas of the State.

The Commissioner stated that the Ministry will ensure that all the skills acquisition Centers across the State are put to maximum use, to make Anambra youths self reliant.

He announced that the State will collaborate with the Federal Government to equip and make maximum use of the center and provide the needed facilities for training.

The Principal of the National Youth Development Centre Mgbakwu, Mrs Grace Ogbuji, urged the State Government to make adequate use of the centre for skills acquisition and vocational trainings of the youths.

It would be recalled that the last edition of the training was held in June last year, when no fewer than one hundred and fifty youths from different registered youth organizations, were trained in different skills, such as shoe making, confectionery, computer repairs and solar energy production, among others.
