Youths Are The Bedrock Of Every Society – Prince Obinna Ndigwe



The Patron of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Anambra State Chapter, Prince Obinna Ndigwe, yesterday evening, played host to the executive of the Youth body at his palatable mansion in Umuokpu, Awka.

Easter Sunday according to Christian belief, is considered as a day of joy and celebration to commemorate that Jesus Christ is risen and it was in that context that Prince Ndigwe threw his gate wide open, as family and friends, associates and organized bodies throng in to celebrate with a man whose benevolence has pave way for an all round development in his community.

Receiving the Executive Members of the newly inaugurated Youth Council, led by Comr. Samuel Egwuatu, the elated philanthropist thanked them for finding time to honour him with their presence, saying that youth holds a special spot in his heart.

The guests were immediately treated to a variety of delicacies, as there was just enough to go round.
Prince Obinna Ndigwe is a seasoned entrepreneur and who has made a mark for himself in the business world. His rise didn’t just come on a platter of gold, he struggled, had difficult moments but yet never stop pursuing his dream and God compensated his hard work with immeasurable success.

Today, Prince Obinna has helped raise and build thousands of youths, given them the platform to exercise their creativity and excel. It was in this vein that the Youth Council found him worthy and immensely qualified to be made a patron. He accepted wholeheartedly.

So in confirming him as the patron of the youth body, Comr Egwuatu, on behalf of the Executive, presented a special plate number from the Presidency of the Youth Council to Prince Obinna Ndigwe.

Egwuatu, affirmed that the Special Plate Number is an indication that Prince Ndigwe is now completely with them and therefore anywhere he goes, the youth are solidly behind him.

He reassured prince Ndigwe, that his selection as the Patron was simply done on merit, while stating emphatically that the council will continue to hold him in high esteem and give him all the necessarily support because of his youth friendly disposition.

Responding, Prince Ndigwe, said the role youth play in our society cannot be overemphasized. 

“When the request came to be your patron, I accepted it immediately because I get involve without hesitation in any affair that has to do with the youth”, he stated.

Ndigwe, who considered youths to be the bedrock of the society, promised the Youth Council he will always be there for them, in any capacity and will continue to pursue his agenda of building more youths and giving them a secured future.

Same day, APGA Ward Executive of Umuokpu Ward 7 in Awka South Constituency A, were also well entertained by Prince Obinna Ndigwe, who is a strong and respected APGA Stakeholder in Awka South.
