INEC Commences Second Quarter CVR In The 21 LGA's


The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Anambra State, has commenced the second quarter Continuous Registration of Voters in all its offices in the 21 Local Government Areas and other designated centres across the State.

The exercise holds from today Monday to Friday, between nine o’clock in the morning and three o’clock in the afternoon, excluding weekends and public holidays.

A statement from Head, Voter Education and Publicity of the Commission in the state, Mr Leo Nkedife advised Community leaders to visit INEC Local Government offices to inquire on the schedule for the floating centre for their respective wards for registration as well as mobilise their subjects.

Nkedife called on eligible persons who are yet to register and those who have just attained the age of 18 to visit INEC centres to get registered.

“Those who have lost their Permanent Voter Cards, those whose cards are defaced or damaged and those with incorrect spellings and those who have moved or transferred from where they registered before are equally advised to visit INEC registration centres and get their particulars transferred to their new areas.
