60 Percent of My Program Is Targeted Towards Women In The Community - Emeka Igwe

Women leaders representing all the wards in Awka South LGA, paid a courtesy visit at the palatial home of one their illustrious son and philanthropist, Prince Emeka Igwe.

Emeka Igwe, an APGA Stakeholder and a staunch supporter of the Willie Obiano’s administration, appreciated and thanked the women leaders for finding it worthy to identify with him.

Igwe in recognizing the role of women in the community, narrated how he and his team went round the villages that made up Awka South LGA, during the November 18th 2017 governorship election, to consult and identify with them.

“I am ready to go all out to support the women because it is the women that build homes”. 60% of my program is targeted towards the women in the community”, he said.

Mrs Patricia Molokwu, APGA Women Leader for Awka South LGA, poured encomium on Igwe for the recognition he accorded them, which according to her shows the level of value he placed on them.

She avowed that all the party women leaders present and women within the LGA, will give him all the support he needed.

Prince Emeka Igwe used the occasion to formally inform them of his desire to run for the State House of Assembly, with the mission of getting things done the right way and with the participation of the electorates.

He called for their support and pledged to give account of his stewardship if given the mandate.

The women who all agreed that his integrity was never in question due to his proven track records, praised him for taking the bold step and assured him that with God his political dream will come to fruition.

The women leader were later treated to sumptuous refreshment and gifted with clothing materials, alongside cash.
