Senator Victor Umeh Visits Market Gutted By Fire (PHOTOS)

The newly sworn-in Senator, representing Anambra Central, was on ground at Dei-Dei Timber Market, Abuja to condole with Traders whose wares were gutted by an inferno recently.

As a senator with humane feelings and compassion, Chief Umeh extended his hand of benevolence by uplifting the plight of the affected traders financially and morally.

Chief Umeh assured the market managements of his continued support and call on them to put measure in place to forestall any future occurrence.

The Dei Dei Timber Market supplies all the timber needs in furniture making, roofing of houses, and many more, in Abuja and it's environment. The traders there are predominantly Igbos.

The fire outbreak which occurred early in the month ravaged goods and burnt down buildings thereby putting some persons out of business.

But yesterday's visit by Senator Victor Umeh and his entourage gave the traders relief with discussion on how to rebuild the market to its bustling and full operational status.

Senator Victor Umeh was in the company of the former Chairman Njikoka local government, Chief Emeka Onuorah , Igwe Mike Okekeuche Okpalariam III of Enugwu Agidi, Dr. Osita Anameze Onowu E/Agidi, Ichie Gab Ibekie Opuluozo E/Agidi, Prince Emeka Egwuekwe of Prince Furniture fame, etc.
