The traditional ruler of Aguleri, Eze Christopher Idigo has called on the Federal Government to look into the growing agitations for re-structuring of the country as it is a known management strategy and tool for moving a nation forward that should not be treated with levity.

Eze Idigo made the call in his address at the One Hundred and Eighteenth Ovala Festival of Aguleri Ancient kingdom.
It was a gathering of crème de la crème of the society who converged on Amaigwe Square, Aguleri in Anambra east local government as the traditional ruler of the community, Eze Christopher Idigo celebrated the 118th Ovala festival of Aguleri ancient kingdom.

Ovala in Aguleri, which always serves to welcome the New Year, is a period of thanksgiving for the people of the community who thank God for the favours of the previous year and also for blessings of a new year.

This year’s Ovala, the twenty- third for Eze Christopher Idigo, was themed Ovala Chukwuemelie.

Eze Idigo, in his Ovala address, appreciated all and sundry, especially the youths of the community for their active participation through the Ada masquerade, urging them to identify more deeply with the culture of the community, even as he enjoined them to engage in meaningful pursuits.

He revealed that the theme of the Ovala is in appreciation of the clear and manifest intervention of the Almighty God in the just- concluded governorship election, adjudged the most peaceful ever witnessed in the state.

Eze Idigo stated that the Governor Obiano- led APGA administration has proven to be an outstanding and purposeful government, with a mission to turn around the Anambra.
