Obiano Receives Commendations On Oye Agu - Nimo Convent Road Projects

Governor Willie Obiano has been described as a trail brazer in the Nigerian politics, following the way he defeated thirty-six other opponents during the November eighteenth gubernatorial election in the State.

A Nimo based industrialist, Chief Francis Nwabachili, who spoke in an interview with the ABS, said that he gave the Governor the new name, because no one expected him to cruise to victory the way he did owing to the array of formidable opposition.

He commended the Governor for the ongoing construction of Oye-Agu Nimo convent road which he said will boost businesses in the area on completion.

While congratulating Governor Obiano on his victory, the industrialist urged him to use his second term to consolidate on the achievements recorded in his first term, even as he hoped that the ongoing construction of the Oye Agu-Nimo Convent Road will be completed in a record time.

He described the road as very strategic to the people of the area.

He also used the opportunity to urge the State government to complete the Ezi Icheke- Nimo Road which he equally described as important to the people of Nimo and Abagana communities.

Chief Nwabachili commended the Member representing Njikoka Constituency Two in the State House of Assembly, Dr Pete Ibida, for drawing the attention of the Governor to the road, and praised him for his doggedness and effective representation.
