Obiano Optimistic Of APGA Victory In Anambra Central Senatorial Re-run Election

Governor Willie Obiano says victory for APGA in next month's rerun election for Anambra Central Senatorial District, will help the party further firm its roots in the state.

Governor Obiano stated this during the burial mass of Mr. Christopher Ejiofor, father of the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha Council Area Mr Ikeobi Ejiofor , held at St Paul's Catholic Church, Obeledu.

Governor Obiano who noted that a lot has eluded people of Anambra Central Senatorial District due to lack of representation at the red chambers, said time has come for the people to rise and choose a credible candidate that will represent them at the Senate.

He observed that of all the candidates contesting in the January 13th, 2018 rerun, election Chief Victor Umeh of the All Progressives Grand alliance, APGA remains the best and has all it takes to be a strong voice for Ndigbo in the National Assembly.

Maintaining that God's hand is evident in what is happening in the state's political arena, Governor Obiano said the emergence of an APGA senator will go a long way in pressing home the demands of Ndi Anambra from the Federal government.

He urged Ndi Anambra to hold tenaciously to APGA as the only political party through which Ndigbo can gain relevance in the country's scheme of affairs, assuring them that the party will continue to provide them dividends of good governance.
