The Progressive People's Alliance (PPA) Kick-starts Campaign In Onitsha

Yesterday at the All Saint Cathedral, Onitsha, The Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) officially kicked start it campaign for the forthcoming guber election holding in Anambra State on November 18, 2017.

Chief Peter Ameh, the National Chairman of the party led the National Working Committee to conduct the symbolic handing over of the party’s flag to Mr Godwin Chukwunenye Ezeemo and his deputy, Hon. Stanley Nkwokah.

Handing over the flag to the guber candidate of the party, Mr Ezeemo, Chief Ameh described him as “a man of integrity and an embodiment of honesty and humility who has distinguished himself as an astute business man and administrator who had brought his investment home".

There were goodwill messages from the likes of a former presidential candidate under APGA, Mr George Okoye; Hon. Edwin Okonkwo, Deputy National Chairman (South) and many more from other stakeholders of the party.

 Also in addressing party supporters, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo unfolds his manifesto which come with the acronym SHAPE and stands for “Security, Health, Agriculture, Power and Education”.

He, at the same time signed what he presented as a social contract, which detailed what he planned to achieve if elected governor.

But so far, going by public acceptance, ndi Anambra seem to be more at home with Gov. Obiano who has according to the populace has done more than enough in his 3.5 years as the governor. And with statistic made available, Obiano has an overwhelming and best chance of retaining the governorship seat come November 18.
