More Stakeholders Defect To APGA Ahead Of Anambra Guber


Three prominent industrialists and their supporters from Umuhu village, Ward One Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government area have joined the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.

The newly admitted members include Chief Joseph Okeke, Okwudilichukwu Nwosu and Anthony Ikeolisah.

The event to receive the party's new members which took place at the resident of the Commissioner for Education, Professor Kate Omenugha attracted APGA stake holders from Nnobi Ward one, government appointees and APGA faithful who came to welcome their new members into the party amidst fun fairs.

Welcoming the party faithful, the Commissioner for Education, Professor Kate Omenugha accompanied by her husband Dr. Mike Omenugha commended the new members for their decision to join the party and expressed confidence that they will work together for the victory of the party in the coming governorship elections in the state.

Professor Omenugha used the opportunity to enumerate the various achievements of Governor Obiano in the areas of security, construction of roads, fly over, lightening the state, developing Education and Health sectors as well as twenty million naira community choose your projects initiation among others and encouraged them to help propagate the good news, and disclosed that Governor Obiano has won the Best Teacher friendly Award in the country.

Admitting the new members into the party, the member representing Idemili South in the state Assembly, Barrister Chuka Ezenwune and Chairman of APGA, Idemili South Local Government Area, Chief Felix Obunadike expressed confidence that Idemili and Anambra state belong to APGA, noting that Ndi-Anambra are responding to the clarion call for all to join APGA to ensure stability and continued development of the state.

They promised the new members of equity and fairness in the affairs of the party.

Also speaking a former councilor in the area, Mr. Uzochukwu Ejigbaru expressed confidence on APGA victory at the polls.

In their separate remarks the new members, Chief Okwudilichukwu Nwosu, Joseph Okeke and Anthony Ikeolisah said they have been observing the developmental programmes of the present administration which encouraged them to join APGA to reelect Governor Obiano to continue with his quality leadership style, to avoid dragging the state backwards.
