Former Anambra Commissioner, Chief Okoye, Lauds Obiano On Education

A former Commissioner for Education in the Old Anambra State, Chief Chuma Okoye, has described the State government's approach to governance as revolutionary.

Chief Okoye said that the present administration implements a steady development structure that encourages all communities to develop simultaneously.

The former Commissioner, who was speaking on ABS programme, "Political Platform" noted that the twenty million naira community choose-your-project-initiative is the first of its kind in the history of Eastern Nigeria, saying that it has helped all communities in the State realize that they are part of the government.

He noted that the government has shown great innovation in all sectors of the state economy, as evident in its policies, especially in security, education, and infrastructural development.

Chief Okoye pointed out that the present administration does not only pay workers but also increased their salaries, thereby leading to a better retirement emoluments.

Listeners to the programme, who called in to air their views, including Monday Obi from Awka, Uche from Igbariam, and Nkwado from Neni, all enjoined the people of the State to disregard the calls for election boycott.
