Anambra 2017: We Will Return Obiano With The Power Of Our Votes – Rtn Ifeanyi Aniagoh (PHOTOS)

Anamnra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano's laudable achievements, 3 ½ years into his administration and under a disastrous national economy, are unprecedented, largely celebrated and appreciated by ndi Anambra.

Rtn Ifeanyi Aniagoh, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Social Media, made the above remarks when he played host to the people of his Ward in his country home, Abagana.

This meeting which has been ongoing for over a year with the objective of reaching out to the people at the grassroots to deliberate and work together for the common good of the community, put together by Aniagoh, holds every last Sunday of the month.

Addressing the gathering, Aniagoh who is in touch with his people, said that it was only possible for them to always meet in this manner because the governor fulfills his monthly obligation to workers by paying their salaries and other entitlements promptly.

"Akpokuedike has transformed Anambra, we now have a befitting State Capital, youths are fully integrated and being empowered, our mothers in the markets no longer pay levies while Keke and Okada riders have their levies slashed"

"Presently, Anambra tops in Agriculture and Education. The Health institutions are being revamped. With the security and the street lighting, nightlife has returned to our dear State and investors are coming in enmasse thereby creating jobs."

Aniagoh called for intensive door to door evangelism to preach Obiano’s good governance to ensure victory at the poll come November 18.

Stating that the present administration has a lot in stock for ndi Abagana, Aniagoh announced that work has resumed at Ukpo-Abagana road, and the Oye Abagana-Nimo road, abandoned for decades will soon be flagged off.

“If we continue to mention what Obiano has done in his 3 ½ years as Governor, we will exhaust the whole day. His modest and humble upbringing molded him into becoming a technocrat with a good heart and that is why he listens to the voice of ndi Anambra” he enthused.

Aniagoh urged APGA faithful, numbering in their hundreds, to use the power of their votes to convincingly return Akpokuedike for second tenure.

Speaking earlier, Ike Abagana, Hon. Tony Nwasojie, SSA on IGR emphasized that APGA remained the only Igbo identity and on no account should ndigbo allow it to be extinguished, saying that the Igbo race will lose its political value if that should happen.

Nwazojie called on party faithful to be dedicated and committed, “They will offer you money, they will offer you many things, but do not trade our party APGA for anything. It is our identity and therefore we must vote our mind and conscience.”

Speaking also, Elder Charles Okongwu, the Njikoka local council APGA Chairman, told the people to disregard those peddling rumours that Election will not hold.

Okongwu added that the governor has impacted every community showing the list of all the projects executed in all the towns in Njikoka LGA including the 20million naira do-it-yourself community projects.

Okongwu announced that before the election day, party faithful who find it difficult to read or separate alphabets, will be sensitized on how to identify the APGA party logo and thumbprint.

On his own part, Chief Augustine Chinwuko who is the Njikoka LG Coordinator of Willie Obiano Support Group revealed that the few persons that left APGA were people who wanted to remain perpetually in office after being their for 12 years.

"They are pursuing their personal interests. They led APGA for more than 8 years without anything to show and now they are running out."

According to him, the unprecedented achievements of Akpokuedike in such a short time is indicative of the level of advancement that Anambra will experience when Obiano returns for second term.

Present at the event were stakeholders, Party Chieftains, SAs and SSAs, party loyalists and numerous enthusiasts of the working governor as well as leaders of Team Obiano, United Anambra Youth Assembly, Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement, among other support groups
