Intending Christian Pilgrims Depart Anambra Today For The Holy Land

Intending Pilgrims from the State have been urged to maintain the high level of good conduct for which the State's pilgrims were known for.

Resource Persons made the call at a one day orientation exercise for intending pilgrims for the second batch of the 2017 Family Pilgrimage to Jerusalem held in Awka.

The Orientation exercise featured talks on handling issues, the spiritual gains of the pilgrimage and many others.

Speaking at the forum, the International Pilgrims Consultant Ultimo Eslabon Limited, the tour agency inchrage of the pilgrimage, Dr Levi Monanu, charged the intending pilgrims to observe the best practices as demanded of pilgrims who understand the importance of their journey.

He said the state has received important recognitions for its conduct during previous pilgrimages and asked the 2017 contigent to uphold this good legacy built over the years.

While speaking on the expected sites where they will visit on arrival at the Holy Land, the Director, Ultimo Eslabon Limited, Dr Enekole Monanu, incharge of the handling of the intending pilgrims, emphasized the need for the pilgrims to ensure they keep instructions given to them as it concerns luggage, movement and health matters.

Other speakers, Reverend Father Linus Akuakor, Reverend Canon Kingsley Chukwukamma, Dr Nathan Muojekwu and Mrs Anisiobi who in their different lectures harped on the spiritual gains of the journey, health precautions, and ground handling conducts, urged the intending pilgrims to maximize the journey to pray for their families and the country in general.

Highlights of the Orientation exercise were the presentation of the air tickets and T-Shirts for the journey to the intending pilgrims, that will be airlifted for the 2017 family pilgrimage today.
