ANSAA: Stop Defacing the Environment or Risk Arrest

The Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency, ANSAA wish to once again appeal to the general public to avoid incessant pasting of posters and indiscriminate erection of billboards.

The agency has repeatedly announced the need to avoid pasting of posters or erecting of billboards within restricted areas especially in and around the Capital Territory.

Also, it has been widely publicized that any individual, company or party that may wish to paste
posters or erect bill boards should do so under the guidance of ANSAA and only after payment of necessary fees as provided by the law.

All posters and billboards pasted/erected without consulting ANSAA and payment of relevant fees will be removed; and the persons involved in the production, printing and pasting as well as the company or individual being promoted by such posters/billboards will be compelled to face the necessary disciplinary actions.

Thus, the general public is by this notice advised to stop defacing the environment or risk being arrested according to the relevant laws.
