Hon. Comm. Mark Okoye Emerges JCI's Young Person of the Year (Government & Politics Category)

Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget & Development Partners, Mr Mark Okoye was yesterday voted in as the JCI's Young Person of the Year (Government & Politics Category).

JCI which stands for Junior Chambers International is one of the World's foremost humanitarian bodies.

The voting anchored on http://toyp.jci.ng/political/ had the Nigeria's youngest Commissioner emerge the winner with 52.7% votes while his closest contender, Seun Onigbinde had 41.6%.

Recall that Mark Okoye, who's one of the numerous Anambra Youths appointed by Gov Willie Obiano to participate in Governance and the Democratization Process, recently won the Future Awards Africa 2016 Young Person of the Year.

Till date, Anambra State under governor Obiano is the first and only leader with over 55% of his political appointees as young people.

Congratulations to Mark Okoye II... Kudos to Gov Obiano's youth friendliness.
