More Opposition Members Decamp To APGA In Ogbaru

Ndi Anambra have been advised to vote massively for the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in the forthcoming gubernatorial election for continuity.

The transition committee Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area Barrister Ignatius Ezediokpu, gave the advice during avisit to Ogwuikpele, one of the wards in the local government on inspection of ongoing twenty million naira state government community development project in the area.

The visit which attracted both APGA and non APGA faithful, was a successful and fruitful outing for the All Progressive Grand Alliance as no fewer than seven members of the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, and All Progressive Congress, APC, decamped to APGA.

Barrister Ezediokpu, while speaking on the need for the people of the state to return Governor Willie Obiano on November 18th, said that the transformation the present administration has brought to all sectors in the state with emphasis on good security network which has attracted influx of both local and foreign investors, could be jeopardized if Ndi Anambra do otherwise during the forthcoming election.

The Chairman, who described APGA as a party which has since creation lived up to expectation by assuring equitable distribution of democracy dividends, called on Ndi Igbo to always support the party which he said is part of their identity.

He however assured Governor Obiano, of the APGA's triumph in the guber election in Ogbaru wards, announcing the people's loyalty and unflinching support to APGA.

Contributing, the Local Government Chairman of the party ,Mr. Nnamdi Ifejika, who commended Governor Obiano on his selfless services to the people of the state, especially the twenty million naira choose your project initiative which he noted has made both the rural dwellers feel the impact of the government, said members of the party in the local government are working tirelessly towards his success in the election to ensure continuity.

On his part, one of the decampees, Dr Chukwuma Igwe, said he was motivated to join APGA seeing the numerous good works in the state and to support the zoning initiative which he described as the best, calling on Igbos to do same as the party is their own.
