Anambra Students Shine In S P Jain Essay Competition, Beat Other States

Anambra State students have taken the first, second, third and fourth positions in the recently concluded SP JAIN Essay competition which grand finale took place at the banquet hall of Excellence and Conference Centre, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.

The title of the essay was “Nigeria Budget, Planning, Implementation and Monitoring Processes” It was an online essay competition of 2500 words in which shortlisted students defended their write ups at the grand finale.

While Godwin Chinecherem Divine of Maria Regina Model Comprehensive Secondary School, Nnewi took the first position, Mbamalu Chiagozie of the Lords Foundation School, Nnewi came second. Chisom Faith Ofokansi of Maria Regina Model Secondary School, Nnewi also took the third position while Onuigbo John Chukwubuikem of the Archbishop Heery Secondary School, Ogidi took the fourth position, leaving Chileke Ginikachukwu of Danson High School, Ikeja Lagos to take the fifth position.

The 2016 essay competition was organized in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education Abuja with an approval to involve all the senior secondary school students in Nigeria including FCT for the National essay competition.
