Awka Youths Vow to Support Obiano for 2nd Term as Victor Umeh Empowers Awka Youths offering Full-scale Scholarships to Indigent Students

The youths of Awka North and South local government area yesterday experienced a life-changing event as Chief Sir Victor Umeh, Ohamadike Ndigbo extended his humane gestures to the area.

 In an event conveyed by...
the Honorable Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Commerce Hon Ifeatu Onejeme and Ambassador Jude Agumadu (Agujiegbe), Chairman Eke-Awka to mark the presentation of Emeka Agumadu scholarship scheme.

The scholarship which were initially made for three out of twelve students and for one academic year were further escalated by Chief Sir Victor Umeh who was the special guest in the event.
In the raffle-draw which brought about the winners of the scholarship, the spectators were unable to contain the grieve and trauma in the students who picked the 'NO' tag as only three 'YES' tag were available in the box.

Chief Sir Victor Umeh in the first place promised to grant another five persons 100,000naira each and that led to a corresponding offer from Chief Dr. Okwudili Ezenwankwo (Ewepudike Na Nanka) of automatic scholarship to the remaining hope-shattered students (4).

While the jubilation and tears of joy rained, Chief Sir Victor Umeh added another explosion by placing one of the indigent students Igwenagu Nkiruka, an ND1 student of Federal Polytechnic Oko on his Education Support Foundation which has produced over 75 graduates and post graduates, and currently sponsoring over 100 students in undergraduate levels in various institutions and post graduates...

The later was really a shocker to the already overwhelmed crowd as both the men and women, old and young were already shading tears of joy as Ohamadike further expanded the opportunity (assisted by Ewepudike Na Nanka) to grant "Full Scholarship" to the twelve students (till graduation)...

The event also witnessed the presentation of relief materials to widows and old women in the area by Ohamadike Ndigbo; the masses who addressed Ohamadike as "Our Senator" vowed not just to vote for Chief Sir Victor Umeh for Senate but to also support Governor Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano's second term bid and to protect their votes after casting, thereby sending a warning to miscreants to steer clear of the zone in the coming elections.

Some of the notable personalities in attendance (in no particular order) include; the Deputy Governor of Anambra state His Excellency Chief Dr Nkem Okeke (Ugo Gbuzuo); the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Dr Victor Ike Oye (Ochendo); the APGA candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial rerun election, Chief Sir Victor Umeh (Ohamadike Ndigbo) and wife; the Deputy Chairman of APGA Anambra State Chief Tony Omeligwe Elee; the Honourable Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Commerce Hon Ifeatu Onejeme; Special Adviser Political to the Deputy Governor, Hon Dr. Elo Afoka; Chief Dr. Okwudili Ezenwankwo (Ewepudike Na Nanka); Ambassador Jude Agumadu (Agujiegbe, Baby-Awka); Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Chief Kenneth Okonkwo (Aguneche Igbo); other top government functionaries, Ex-Deputy governor of Anambra state and stakeholders in the area.
